Alongside each link is the length of the route, amount of climbing in feet and maximum upward gradient.

These routes are hosted as public rides on Ride With GPS (RwGPS). Visit their website to learn more about their route planning tools. You can sign up for a free account with them to use their tools, or use a paid account ($50 per year) for more powerful editing. You do not need an account to download the routes listed here. Just click on the links to see details of routes.

You will see the route displayed, along with an Export GPX File button. Click the button and follow the instructions. If you want other options (e.g. TCX, or send to another device, such as a phone) then click the three dots and select the options you want — see the second image for an example.
You'll see the route displayed, along with a button labelled Send to Device. If you select this button it will download a TCX file by default. To select other options, click the three dots and choose the option you want, as above.
To make life easier if you use a phone or tablet then for models of Garmin that support Garmin's IQ you can transfer routes wirelessly. Rather than repeat it all, you can find advice on how to do this on the RwGPS site here.
